A Michael Jackson Music Class at an Elementary School

Michael was one of the students of Gardner Elementary School. A hall in this school has been named in his honor. The school now plans to set up a music class and name it “Michael Jackson.” Fans have decided to help the project with a fundraising effort for a $3,000 school initiative.

In 1989, Michael returned to his old school to unveil the hall named in his honor. In 2003, following the allegations made against Michael, a cover was placed over his name on the hall’s facade. But after Michael’s death, with the efforts of fans, the school willingly removed the cover. Read more about the story here.
