Problems in the Way of Michael Jackson Memorial Concert

Tomorrow, a Michael Jackson memorial concert will be held in Wales. Tickets have not been fully sold, and performances by some artists—Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Brown, and the Black Eyed Peas—have been canceled.

Thirty-five Michael Jackson fan communities and some members of his family oppose holding this concert.

The concert’s live TV broadcast has also been canceled, and in addition, due to copyright rules, Michael’s audio and video will not be shown during the show. The concert was supposed to be streamed on Facebook and was expected to have 800 million viewers, but the Facebook page for the concert has received only 11,000 likes so far. It is unclear whether the Facebook plan is still in place or not.

Right now, artists such as Goldie’s Night, Smokey Robinson, and Michael’s brothers Jackie, Marlon, and Tito are busy rehearsing at the 75,000-seat Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
