Michael Jackson’s Immortal Album Is Released

Epic Records will release Michael Jackson’s IMMORTAL / Immortal album on November 21.

This album is released in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil and the Michael Jackson Foundation, and it includes songs by the King of Pop that are performed in his unforgettable tour.

The album will be released in two separate versions: a deluxe version with two discs, and a standard version with one disc.

Immortal is a collection of more than 40 Michael Jackson songs, newly arranged by Kevin Antones, and it presents Michael’s art through a new perspective. Antones spent the past year in a very secret studio working on the master tracks of Michael Jackson’s songs, preparing them in a way that would make them usable for playback in Cirque du Soleil shows.

Antones says: “Michael Jackson’s legacy as the greatest stage and entertainment artist in history is indescribable. From the beginning, it was clear that the sound and essence of his music—the spirit and soul of this project (the Immortal tour)—would be what drives it forward. The strength and integrity of Michael Jackson’s vocals has been preserved in the new arrangements. This album was made with love and respect for Michael, his family, and millions of his fans around the world.” The songs for this album are released under the title Immortal Version.
