What Sheryl Crow Learned From Michael Jackson

Sheryl Crow was one of the singers on Michael Jackson’s Bad tour. On her new album, “Hundred Miles from Memphis,” she covered a Jackson 5 song titled “I Want You Back.” In an interview about what she learned from Michael Jackson during the tour, she said:

“Just watching him on stage taught me so many things. I would tell myself that I could use some of them, and that some of them just wouldn’t work for me. His nightly shows were on the scale of a Broadway theater. It was incredible, but it wasn’t something I could pull off.”
