Tribute Works by Other Artists Remembering Michael Jackson

Here we introduce a few works by artists from the music world that have been released as tributes in memory of Michael Jackson.

4. A video and song by drummer Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett titled “Flame.” Moffett posted this video on his Facebook page last month as a tribute to Michael. Click

Moffett collaborated with Michael at This Is It concerts and before that as well. He said:

“I dedicate this song to remember Michael Jackson, my friend, teacher, inspiration, and heart-brother. I know that millions—and maybe billions—of MJ fans like me will connect with the lyrics of this song.”

Moffett said that over the years of working together and being friends, a deep bond had formed between them, and their movements and behavior on stage were perfectly in sync. He could even read Michael’s mind.

He called Michael the greatest entertainer who has ever lived and one of the greatest philanthropists in history.

“In the last 25 years of his short life, Michael was one of the most powerful men in the world. His power was love, and nothing else. The power of love. L.O.V.E. (Love, L.O.V.E)”
