On the Anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Death

This year, no special program was arranged, but it didn’t stop these fans from gathering at Michael Jackson’s beloved land, Neverland. Hundreds of them gathered on the way into Neverland, holding branches of flowers. They held each other’s hands, sang Michael’s songs, and talked about their memories and longing.

Fans also wrote tributes to him on social media. One of them said:

“Long before, I was invited to ride your roller coaster. I didn’t know that the heights would be so high and the dips would be so low. Some of the turns were scarier than others. But I was waving my hands in the air with excitement and I never once thought about coming down. I love you... always.”
