Thriller Live Musical Theatre Reaches 1,000 Shows
Thriller Live, the musical theatre production created by Adrian Grant, is celebrating its 1,000th performance this week. The show, which began in 2006, is performed based on Michael Jackson and his brothers’ songs and dances.
To mark the 1,000th show in London’s West End, Blue — who had recently participated as representatives of the UK in the Eurovision singing contest — and also Shahin Jafargholi, an Iranian-born boy and runner-up of Britain’s Got Talent, will join Thriller in the theatre. Before the show settled in the West End, Shahin traveled around Europe with the group. So far, Thriller Live has toured Europe three times.
The celebration will take place on Thursday of this week. Thriller Live has been on stage in the West End since January 2009. The show will remain at the Lyric Theatre in London’s West End until the end of January 2012. So far, the show’s run time has been extended several times.
