Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb Collaboration on a Video
It’s said that some of the joint collaborations between Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb, a member of the Bee Gees, will be released in the near future. Barry Gibb has recently posted a video of Michael on his official network on YouTube.
In the video, they are seen in a recording studio working on the song “It’s All In Your Name.” Gibb previously shared a short snippet of this song on his website.
The demo of the song was recorded in 2002 in the Gibb brothers’ home studio. On that day, Michael visited their home with the song—almost fully written—on paper. The entire audio recording session was filmed by Ashley, Barry Gibb’s daughter. It’s said that a two-hour film of this session is available.
On his website, Barry Gibb wrote:
"Michael Jackson and I were, in one word, the closest of friends. We were drawn to similar music and were interested in collaborating with each other. Writing a song next to him was very easy. The more we got to know each other, the more our ideas blended, and it all came together in the song All in Your Name.
All in Your Name is, in fact, the message Michael wanted to deliver to all his fans around the world—saying that whatever he does is for them and for his pure love of music. I hope and pray that all of us will be able to listen to the full version of this song. This experience will remain like a treasure for me forever."
