The Michael Jackson Foundation sent the following statement to eMJey.com: “Please inform the fans that we are aware of the concerns and questions regarding the agreement with Heal the World Foundation. The foundation needs at least 90 days to gather information. This information includes the assets and rights that must be returned to the foundation by Heal the World Foundation and Melissa Johnson (the charity’s director). We want fans to know that any use of this charity by the foundation—direct involvement in charitable activities, or other decisions—will be carried out with full consideration of Michael’s wishes and his legacy, which we hold in the highest respect. We also respect the fans’ views, who never stop supporting Michael and his legacy.
