Georgian Joins Conrad Murray’s Defense Team
Judge Michael Pastor has decided to allow Nargis Georgian to join Conrad Murray’s defense team. Georgian previously worked as an assistant to Michael’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, in the 2005 charges case. However, Michael changed the legal team and removed Georgian and Geragos.
Some time ago, Mark Geragos had expressed concern that Georgian’s presence on Murray’s defense team could create a conflict of interest (read the news). After reviewing the matter, the judge has now announced that there is no real or potential danger.
This decision was made one day after a closed-door meeting attended by the judge, Geragos, Georgian, and the defense attorney for the Michael Jackson Foundation, Howard Weitzman.
