Justin Bieber’s tribute to Michael Jackson

The 16-year-old singer Justin Bieber had previously said that he is influenced by Michael Jackson. Two months ago, at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, when he received the award for Favorite Male Artist in the Pop/Rock category, he thanked Michael because “without Michael Jackson, none of us would be here.”

In his new interview, he recently said that Michael Jackson did everything in his work the right way. Speaking about his excessive use of sexy stage scenes in music videos from this era, he tells Love Magazine that he wants to follow Michael’s path.

“There will always be only one Michael Jackson. He did everything right. His songs weren’t stupid or out of his lane. Everyone wants to have the chance to reach a career like his—at that level and status, I feel the same way. I don’t want to grow up too fast. A lot of people who want that are wrong.”

He hopes that, like Michael, a wide range of people around the world will welcome him.
