Family: Michael Had Predicted His Own Murder

Since Michael’s death, some members of his family have insisted that Michael was intentionally murdered. They say Michael told them he felt he would be killed because of Sony/ATV’s catalog worth hundreds of millions of dollars. A representative for the Jackson family says they are horrified by the possible defense strategy of Murray’s lawyers to prove Conrad Murray’s innocence and portray Michael’s death as suicide. The representative says: “The very important point is that shortly before his death, Michael told his mother that he would be killed, and that they would murder him to take his catalog.” Michael owned 50% of the Sony/ATV catalog, including nearly 750,000 songs by various artists, including The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Eminem, and Akon.
