California medical board asks the judge

If the judge in Michael Pastor’s case rules that, after the preliminary stage of the trial, the formation of a court proceeding against the defendant—Dr. Conrad Murray, accused of the involuntary manslaughter of the King of Pop—is necessary, then the California medical board will likely seek to suspend Murray’s medical license. Based on the evidence presented so far in court, the judge is expected to issue a ruling on the formation of the proceeding in the coming days. The attorney who represents the medical board has been present at the preliminary hearings, and it’s likely that after the judge’s decision, he will present the board’s request. If that happens, it will be the medical board’s third attempt to revoke Murray’s medical license. As a result of their two previous actions, this doctor was barred from administering sedatives and anesthetics, and the judge had ordered him to "not sedate anyone." It’s also expected that the states of Texas and Nevada will follow the California medical board’s move and try to revoke Murray’s license as well.
