The official numbers won’t be announced until Friday, but various sources indicate that despite all the controversy and trouble, Michael Jackson’s new album is currently at number three in sales after Susan Boyle and Taylor Swift. First-week sales of the album differ only slightly from what Sony estimated (225,000 copies). So far, the Michael album has sold 224,910 copies.
