Details on the Preliminary Hearing in Michael Jackson’s Murder Case

Preliminary hearings in the Pop King’s involuntary manslaughter case will be held in January 2011. Over this two-week period, the prosecution will bring about 30 witnesses to court. Doctors and investigators involved in the case are among those witnesses. The prosecution team will try to explain to the court the irresponsible and careless conduct of the heart specialist, Conrad Murray, in caring for Michael Jackson. Michael died last year at home after a forensic autopsy determined that he had been given a high dose of the anesthetic propofol, and his death was ruled involuntary manslaughter.
