Conrad Murray’s Lawyers Get Approval to Review Medical Evidence

At last, Conrad Murray’s lawyers—the doctor accused of Michael Jackson’s involuntary manslaughter—can review part of the medical evidence left behind at the scene of the Pop King’s death. They previously requested permission to run new tests before the substances in the syringes were converted into salt and destroyed. They want to measure the amounts of propofol and lidocaine contained in these syringes. Yesterday, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office announced that it would agree to the lawyers’ request only on the condition that the tests are carried out properly and that the evidence is not destroyed.
