A Jackson Five Song Gets a Grammy

Michael sang I’ll Be There when he was 12 years old. On Tuesday, it was announced that the 2011 Grammy Awards will induct the Jackson Five’s single into the Grammy Hall of Fame. This will be Michael’s second song in the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 1999, the Jackson Five’s I Want You Back was added to the list of historic and high-quality songs in the music industry, and in 2008, two Michael albums—Invincible and Off the Wall—were also inducted into the Hall of Fame. Other songs expected to reach this honor in the coming year include Penny Lane by the Beatles in 1967, Cat’s In The Cradle by Harry Chapin in 1974, and finally We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, released in 1965 by The Animals.
