U.S. Ambassador Supports the Fans

Paul W. Jones, the U.S. ambassador in Malaysia, announced his support for his side in the rapidly growing campaign defending Michael Jackson against Kelvin MacKenzie. Mr. Jones, who has been a friend of Michael, sent an email to ITV. Of course, this email is not official; it’s personal. But his wife confirmed on Sunday that he and his husband have signed the complaint paperwork. In the email, Mr. Jones’s wife wrote that she was furious and disgusted by MacKenzie’s "nauseating" remarks. She added that an official, televised apology is the least ITV can do as compensation.
