A Voice Controversy: Sony Confirmed the Song

Only a few hours after its release, the controversy has already blown up.

On the newly released Breaking News track, we hear a different voice from Michael. Some fans are complaining that this voice doesn’t belong to the King of Pop. But Sony has issued a statement: yes, it is!

Opik, which is releasing this new album and its songs along with the Michael Jackson Foundation, now finds itself in a position where it has to testify again. The voice we hear in Breaking News is Michael’s own voice.

Breaking News has been called a scam by Michael’s mother. Taryll and TJ, Tito Jackson’s sons, also wrote on Twitter that they doubt the voice belongs to their uncle.

But the BBC, quoting Sony’s music company, said:

“After extensive research, and after questioning people who were in the studio with Michael, full certainty was established that the voice in the songs on the new album belongs to Michael Jackson.”

It’s also worth noting that Sony used the help of sound experts to confirm this.
