Michael Jackson’s law
Lobbyists in the U.S. state of California want to use Michael Jackson’s death to persuade lawmakers to pass an anti-propofol consumption law. Each of these lobbyists has lost a loved one due to misuse of this anesthetic drug.
They go door to door in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, talking about the deadly drug that took the life of their country’s music legend. The lobbyists want to create a legal barrier against doctors who administer such drugs outside of hospital settings. After the death of the King of Pop last year, the U.S. drug organization announced that it intended to introduce a restrictive law regarding the use of the very powerful anesthetic propofol.
