Michael’s Children Attend Diana Ross Tribute Performance

At 66 years old, Diana Ross—the prominent Black actress and singer—is busy touring her own concert shows. On June 10, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, she dedicated the final part of her concert to performing You Are Not Alone, the beautiful song of the King of Pop.

On stage, she said that this year’s concert tour is dedicated to her dear friend Michael Jackson, and then continued: “His children are among the audience.”

Michael’s three children were present among the crowd to watch this tribute performance by their father. After Diana announced this surprising news, people applauded thunderously in honor of Michael’s 13-, 12-, and 8-year-old children. The kids, who were surrounded by security and could not be approached, were seated next to Barry Gourdie, the owner of Motown.

Diana sang two songs dedicated to Michael, and Missing You brought many in the audience at this 7,000-seat venue to tears. The concert ended with You Are Not Alone. The image page behind her showed a photo of young Michael and Diana hugging each other.
