Limited Access for Fans to Michael’s Grave

The head of police for the city of Glendale, in Los Angeles, has confirmed that on the anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, fans will have limited access to his grave at Forest Lawn. They can gather in the outdoor area around the tomb and pay their respects. But they will not be allowed to enter the inside of the grave, where Michael’s tomb is located next to some of the most famous theater and cinema artists.

Police chief Lorenz says that Forest Lawn is cooperating with the Jackson family to hold the memorial ceremony at this cemetery, and the police will closely coordinate with Forest Lawn Park officials to ensure the security of people who come to the location to pay respects to Michael Jackson and other deceased individuals. Of course, no extraordinary situation has been announced for this purpose so far. In other words, the streets will not be closed, and street vendors around Forest Lawn will not be prevented from working.

Some time ago, Randy Jackson, Michael’s brother, wrote on his Twitter page that he is busy negotiating with Forest Lawn Park officials to obtain permission for fans to be present at that location on the anniversary of his brother’s death.
