Katherine’s New Book
Next week, Katherine Jackson will put a book about her son up for sale on the website www.jacksonsecretvault.com.
“I’ll never be able to say goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archive” includes personal photos and books of the kind often called “coffee table books.” These books, filled with beautiful full-page photos, can be placed on a small table in the living room to entertain guests. The title of this book, Never Can Say Goodbye, is taken from one of the songs by Michael and his brothers, the Jackson 5.
A source says: “She is proud of this book. It wasn’t made for money. It’s a book that tells the truth.”
To promote this book, Katherine Jackson took part yesterday in a two-hour interview with Mark Schaffel, Michael’s former business partner. Schaffel is the only person who has produced legal video interviews of Michael’s former wife, Deborah Rowe, and her mother, Katherine. During the interview, which took place at Schaffel’s home, Katherine talked about last year’s mood, Michael’s children, and her memories. She didn’t say anything about her husband Joe, but she hinted that she is worried the media will portray her family members’ words in a distorted way. Joe had previously said in an interview that he blames Katherine for Michael’s death because she didn’t intervene and didn’t stop Michael from using sedative pills.
She also spoke about the 1993 allegations, saying that her 13-year-old son’s father and stepfather had pressured him to come up with the allegations. Katherine, who does not name the boy (Jordan Chandler), says that last year, after her father (Evan Chandler) committed suicide with his firearm, she intended to tell the truth and withdraw the allegations.
