Feldman’s Work Apology to Michael Jackson

American actor Corey Feldman, 38, took the stage at the Michael Jackson memorial event in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, on Saturday to apologize to Michael. He joined Eddie Griffin, comedian, Mick Rooney, actor, and several members of Michael’s family, and said that he and Michael, who had been friends for 18 years, hadn’t spoken or had a relationship for eight years until Michael died. He now regrets why he didn’t answer his phone when Michael called him to check on him.

“Michael and I were very close friends for 18 years. But for eight years, our relationship was cut off. When he ended his relationship with me, I held a grudge. Eight years passed and then all of a sudden he left. During that time he tried to contact me... but I didn’t. But what I learned is that forgiveness is the most important thing in the world. I can never shake the fact that I missed the chance to say goodbye to him, to hug him, and to tell him how much I loved him. So I want to use this moment now and say: Michael, I forgive you. I hope you forgive me too. I love you.”

In earlier interviews, Corey Feldman had said that when he had become addicted as a young man, Michael helped him overcome it through his support and conversations.
