Wesley Snipes: Michael Was Like an Angel

Wesley Snipes, the prominent Black actor who co-starred with Michael in the 1987 video “Bad,” was devastated to hear the news of the King of Pop’s death. He says Michael was like an angel, and he wishes he would come back again because he was a very special and unique person. Wesley has also spoken about Michael before. read here.

“I danced in the ‘Bad’ video. His death was a huge loss for all of us. And I hope and pray that his creator—or whoever you believe in—brings him back to us in the form of an angel so that we can be entertained. Michael was not an ordinary person. Something angel-like has to exist in someone in order to influence and connect with different people around the world. Maybe we really didn’t take good enough care of him.”

Another of his idols is James Brown, the father of soul music, who died in 2006, and Wesley is working on a film about his life. He says these two legends have had a significant impact on him.

“We listened to their songs every day.”
