Joe Jackson’s displeasure with Cirque du Soleil’s show
While Catherine Jackson, Michael’s mother and the family’s guardian, welcomed a contractual agreement being closed between her son’s Foundation and the Cirque du Soleil group—calling it a valuable tribute to Michael—his husband, Joe, says he doesn’t know why his son’s songs should be used for acrobatic performances, and that he won’t go watch these shows.
The Michael Jackson Foundation is run by his lawyers, John Branca and John McClain, according to his will, and Catherine, Joe, and other family members have no involvement in its financial and professional affairs.
