A new situation in Encino

TMZ says that Catherine Jackson, the grandmother and guardian of Michael’s children, has decided to reduce the number of children under her care. Right now, in addition to Michael’s three children, four other grandchildren live with their mother, Aljandra, in the large Jackson mansion in the Encino area in the San Fernando Valley.

This house, whose deed is in Michael’s name, was given to his mother years ago as a gift. The Encino house is now owned by the Michael Jackson Foundation and will be inherited by his three children. Catherine has taken care of her grandchildren in this home for years, but now she has told Aljandra—who is married to Michael’s two brothers, Randy and Jermaine, and has five children in total—that caring for seven grandchildren is too difficult for her and they must leave the house. Of course, they will still be supported from now on.

Aljandra and her sons, Jafar and Jermajesty (Jermaine’s children), and Dante and Randy Jr. (Randy’s children) will move to a home in the San Fernando Valley that is owned by the Michael Jackson Foundation.

TMZ says this decision came after news spread that Jafar bought an electric gun. Jermaine’s 13-year-old son bought the gun last month, and Jermaine claimed it was a gift for him. The guards confiscated the gun at the house, and then the Child and Family Protection organization visited the Encino home to investigate the situation. In interviews, Jermaine said that some people don’t want his children to stay in Encino, and that’s why they spread the news about the existence of the gun in the media. TMZ claimed that Jafar had threatened two of Michael’s children with the gun, though this report was denied by the Jackson family. Therefore, next week only Prince, Paris, and Blanket will stay at the Encino home together with Catherine.
