The Spanish version of We Are The World

Emilio and Gloria Estefan and several other Latin artists came together on Friday to record a Spanish-language version of the song We Are The World. Emilio Estefan says the idea to record the song came to him during a conversation with Quincy Jones. Andy Garcia and Carlos Santana are among the artists participating in this song, which is called Somos El Mundo. The song will be released for sale in March, and its proceeds will be used to help the people affected by the Haiti earthquake. Source: eMJey / AP
