Possibility of the Kids Singing in the New Song

As you’ve read in the news, nearly 80 singers gathered in Henson Studios in Los Angeles and re-recorded the beautiful song We Are The World. Quincy Jones, the producer of this song, said: “This year marks the 25th anniversary of recording this song, and it’s the right time. It’s not a coincidence. It’s God’s work. This We Are The World is for Haiti.” In the video recording for this song, modern technologies were used—3D and a green screen—and as Lionel Richie put it, viewers will feel like they’re part of the group of singers. But it seems Quincy saved the most impactful part for last: It has been rumored that Maya Angelou, at the request of Catherine Jackson, Michael’s mother, has agreed and written a poem that is expected to be read by Michael’s children, with Quincy’s mediation, and added to this beautiful song. It is also said that there’s a possibility Janet, Michael’s sister, will re-record the vocal part she performed in the original song. Source: eMJey / UsMagazine / ETOnline
