This Is It Screened for Oscar Academy Members

One of the veteran Oscar voters predicts that the film This Is It will be nominated at the Oscars. The Los Angeles Times quotes this person as saying:

“I’m coming back from watching the Sunday evening screening of This Is It at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in front of a thousand people. I experienced the most enthusiastic reaction from the audience in the 40-year history of screenings for the Academy Awards. Similar, but even better than what happened years ago for Chicago. The audience applauded at least 10 times during the screening. They were hypnotized, and the film received a huge endorsement from them. The editing of this film is excellent.

I think this is the first documentary that will be nominated for Best Picture. Especially now that the number of nominees has increased to 10. I also consider this film a gift to the world.”
