Jermain’s new mission
Jermain Jackson says that Michael’s death has given his life a new mission. He said he wants to publish and deliver his brother’s words and message to the public, and that this requires putting his brother’s charitable and benevolent activities—and the human side of his personality—on display for others to see.
He wrote in a blog on Larry King’s website, the longtime CNN host, that although the grief of losing Michael is still with him,:
"In his death, I found a new mission for my life. From now on, my existence will be devoted to spreading Michael’s message. Michael had a unique place in this world. He not only did good deeds, but he also taught others to do those deeds. Even his absence makes the world bigger. I want people to understand Michael’s human side. I want to tell them that Michael’s emphasis was not on music or performance, but on making this world a better place."
