Another delay in Michael Jackson’s burial

Although it had been announced that Michael’s burial ceremony would take place on August 29, coinciding with his birthday, a spokesperson for the Jackson family said the ceremony has been postponed until September 3. The ceremony will be held at 7:00 a.m. at a tomb on the grounds of the Raj trees at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale.

Joe Jackson, Michael’s father, had previously told TMZ that the ceremony had been pushed back to August 31. Landel McMillan, Katherine Jackson’s lawyer, said the reason for the change in date was that some family members objected to the decision to bury Michael on his birthday and did not think it was right.
