Phillips: A world tour is likely

Randy Phillips, CEO of AEG Live—the company that is staging Michael Jackson’s concerts in London—told the German magazine Bunte that after Michael’s London concerts are finished, there is a possibility of a four-year world tour. According to him, discussions about this are ongoing between them and Michael. The company’s CEO said that the concerts of this world tour will first be held in European countries, including Germany—for example, in Berlin and Hamburg—then in Asia, and finally in North America. But all of these plans depend on the quality of Michael’s London concerts, which begin this July, and no contract has been finalized for the tour yet. Phillips said: "We don’t want to put Michael under too much pressure." According to AEG’s CEO, they have a four-year plan for Michael, and they want to divide the world into four regions for the tour. Phillips dismissed rumors about Michael’s illness and said that Michael passed all health tests with an excellent grade within five hours.
