A request from Michael

A campaign has recently been set up on Facebook to donate the song Heal The World (Heal the world) to James Bulger. James Bulger was murdered in 1993 at the age of three by two 11-year-old boys from a deprived area of the city of Liverpool in England. Michael Jackson, in his 2001 speech at Oxford University in London, referred to this event: "Do you think we can really heal our children? Children who can hurt an innocent, helpless toddler to death—like the tragic thing that happened to James Bulger. Of course I think we can. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be here tonight." This campaign asks Michael Jackson to dedicate his beautiful song, Heal The World—which has a humanitarian theme and was James’s favorite—to this three-year-old victim. The child’s parents say he used to dance along with this song. The campaign’s creator is Canadian, and says he was deeply affected by the sad story of James’s murder, and he asks Michael to raise collective awareness of the charitable work of the victim’s mother by dedicating this song to James. James’s mother is setting up a charity in Liverpool called Red balloon. The campaign, titled “Petition for Michael Jackson to dedicate Heal The World to James Bulger,” was created so that after this tragic disaster, a little happiness can be brought into the lives of James’s three-year-old parents. According to him, Michael Jackson was James’s favorite artist. And dedicating Heal The World to him is a great honor for his family. Denise Fergus, the child’s mother, and her husband have strongly supported the campaign and joined it. James’s mother has been a fan of Michael Jackson for years, and she also bought tickets for one of Michael’s concerts in London. She believes creating this campaign was a great idea: "I’ve been a fan of Michael since I was in school. I think he’s an outstanding and remarkable showman. Heal the World was played at James’s funeral, and it will always remain my favorite song. It would be amazing if Michael sang this song in his concerts as a tribute to James. I hope people take part in this campaign and sign it." The collected signatures will be sent to Michael’s company office, MJJ Productions, before the start of Michael’s concerts in July this year.
