Julien: Michael continues on his way
Darren Julien, the person responsible for holding the auction of Michael Jackson’s assets in April this year, said in a recent interview with China.org.cn that, contrary to what the media says, Michael was not forced to sell his assets and arranged the auction of his own will:
“Michael Jackson allowed us to manage this auction. Because he wants to continue on his way and enter a new chapter of his life. When he closed Norland, he didn’t intend to store all the property there. It took 30 years for him to collect all these items. We expect this auction to generate between $1.5 million and $3 million.”
Julien continues that “I don’t think that after this auction is over, he will have any intention to sell other things.”
But this veteran auctioneer believes that Michael will attend the exhibition to watch his assets, though his presence during the auction itself is unlikely. Still, when it comes to Michael Jackson, anything is possible.
