Tito to attend the first performance of Thriller Live
According to what the broadwayworld.com website has reported, Tito Jackson, Michael’s older brother and a member of the Jackson Five and the Jacksons, will be present at the first public performance of the musical Thriller Live at the West End Theatre in London on January 21. The musical goes on stage in praise of Michael Jackson’s music, the King of Pop, and the greatest showman in history. The show is also a tribute to the years of the Jackson family’s activity in the field of music.
Tito Jackson, speaking about his presence in this show, said:
"I’m excited to be attending the public opening ceremony of this show, and I want to see what progress this production—one that has gone beyond the borders of Britain and toured Europe in 2007—has made. Our music is very alive, and it continues to connect with today’s youth and will remain part of the body of modern life.
With the talented team it has at its service, this show appreciates and celebrates our music and the Jackson family’s 40 years of work in entertainment. The timing of the opening of this show in the West End is also very fitting with Motown’s 50th anniversary celebration. We started with Motown, and without Motown, there would never have been the Jackson Five."
