Michael’s spokesperson, Dr. Tohme, confirmed rumors that the King of Pop was moving into a very expensive mansion. According to him, Michael rented a mansion in Bel-Air in the city of Los Angeles for a monthly rent of $100,000 for one year.
Dr. Tohme said the reason for Michael’s move is that he wants to be closer to the center of the entertainment and production industry. Although the real estate market has been slow for some time, Dr. Tohme says that maybe Michael wants to build his dream home during this period.
This mansion was one of the most expensive properties that was put up for sale in 2008 for $38 million. The mansion has 7 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and toilets, 12 fireplaces, a library, a swimming pool, a very modern and equipped kitchen, a special guest house, a wine storage area, and a theater hall. Built in 2002 by the architecture company Richard Landry as a three-story French-style palace, it makes extensive use of European-style interior design. In 2008, the net value of this mansion was estimated at more than $20 million.
Over the past few months, Michael has been seen many times in different locations around Los Angeles, and the theory gained strength that maybe he moved from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
