John Landis’ second lawsuit

One week after filing his first lawsuit in court, John Landis submitted another complaint against Michael Jackson to the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday. The defendants in his latest lawsuit are Michael Jackson and James L. Nederlander, a Broadway theater producer. Earlier this week, Nederlander announced that he planned to produce a musical based on the Thriller video. In his lawsuit filed yesterday, John Landis claimed that Michael Jackson and Nederlander are not legally allowed to do such a thing. He says that Nederlander paid Michael more than $400,000 in exchange for purchasing the right to stage a Thriller musical. Source: eMJey / Associated Press
