O2’s offer to Michael

Billboard has confirmed an offer to Michael Jackson from O2. MJJR.net had reported some time ago that rumors about the possibility of Michael performing at O2 in London or Ireland next year were circulating. A few days ago, Billboard confirmed that there is a “permanent offer with no expiration date” from AEG Live for Michael Jackson to perform at O2.

According to an Irish newspaper, Michael has booked O2, located at Point Theatre, for two nights next summer.

The Irish Daily Mirror, citing a source close to Michael, said that he will release his new album in early next year and then also hold the biggest solo pop tour in history. The source emphasized that Michael is planning to make an incredible comeback, but said that tickets for this possible concert would be expensive.

Last week, Michael said in a statement that he would not take part in the Jackson family tour. He also said that he is currently in the studio developing new ideas that he hopes to share with fans soon at concerts.
