Michael’s statement about the Jackson Five tour
Yesterday, Michael announced in a statement that he would not take part in the 2009 tour of the Jackson Five:
“My brothers and sisters have my full love and support. Of course, we’ve shared some great experiences together. But right now I don’t have any plans to hold a joint tour or record songs with them.
I’m currently in the studio developing fresh and exciting ideas, and I’m counting down to share them with my fans at concerts.”
The statement was released in response to a new comment by Jermaine Jackson, Michael’s brother. Jermaine Jackson, who is staying in Sydney, Australia, to help set up a television channel, announced on October 29 that the Jackson Five would tour next year.
