Michael’s Effort to Prevent the Norlend Auction

One of the sources close to Michael Jackson’s team reports that Michael is preventing the Norlend auction by taking out a new loan. The source says there are many people who are willing to sign a contract with Michael to provide the loan. The real estate market in the United States is stuck in a recession, and Mr. Jackson, like many others, has not been immune to its losses.

On the website belonging to the Santa Barbara County real estate department, documents are available showing that Michael paid all or part of the overdue taxes on the Norlend property on February 4 this year. According to one insider source, it seems unlikely that someone would pay their taxes with the intention of auctioning their property.

Michael has had no mortgage payments (no installment/settlement) on Norlend since June 2005.
