Michael Jackson Statement Regarding Steve Cochran

Michael Jackson’s spokesperson released the following statement on Michael’s behalf regarding Steve Cochran’s separation from his defense team: “I want to thank my lawyer Steve Cochran for the hard work he has done for me. Unfortunately, for his own confidential reasons, he has temporarily stepped out of my team of defense attorneys. Although he will continue to cooperate with me, Thomas Mesereau, and other members of the team. I have known Steve Cochran for many years. He is an extraordinary person and a lawyer who has devoted himself to his work. He will remain my friend and close adviser. My defense team is still being led by Thomas Mesereau.
