According to today’s issue of the New York Post, Michael has joined the Black Muslim Association, which is run by Louis Farrakhan, on Wednesday night. When the news agencies contacted this organization, they received no response. Meanwhile, Stuart Backerman said, while claiming complete ignorance of the matter, that as far as he knows this news is not true, although he said he had not yet spoken with Jackson about it. Michael’s older brother, Jermaine, had previously embraced Islam in 1989. The Fox television network also reported that Jermaine Jackson and Leonard Muhammad had discussed this matter with Michael because they thought he was a victim of racism and that only Islam could save him.
