December 3, 2003 – Fox News: Michael Jackson’s defense plan is revealed
Fox News reported that Michael Jackson’s defense team intends to strongly attack the credibility of the mother of the child at the center of the recent allegations. Informed sources say they have a series of written statements signed by the child and his mother in the presence of Jackson’s lawyer, Mark Geragos. The network also says that in recent days, Jackson’s team has been faced with a flood of phone calls from witnesses who claim they were present at Michael’s home when the boy was there. These people say the boy always seemed happy and cheerful and they never saw any signs of distress or trouble. In addition, some of Jackson’s staff members claim that they have repeatedly seen the boy’s mother arguing with Michael, while she made financial demands of him. According to sources to Fox News, the mother gradually caused such concern for Jackson’s team that since last Bahman they hired two people exclusively to watch her behavior at Neverland so that no unusual behavior would occur. The network also says that some members of Michael’s team believe the story of abuse is not more than the greed of the mother. They said that since around Bahman, she began making verbal threats and said that if they didn’t take care of her, she could go to the newspaper and make up stories. The defense team for Jackson also plans to launch a major raid on the judicial prosecutor (Tom Sneddon), whom they say had the intention from the beginning to trap Jackson.
