Michael supports David Gest to take the title of King of the Jungle

During his stay in London, Michael Jackson became a fan of the television documentary series I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, which airs on ITV, and he also sent a supportive message to his friend David Gest, who is competing in the Australian jungle. The King of Pop believes his friend should claim the title of King of the Jungle. In this documentary, celebrities compete with each other in the Australian jungles to win and retrieve a chest. As a reward, messages of support are sent to the winners by their loved ones. While most of these people received their letters from their spouses or children, David Gest’s letter was sent by Tito, Michael’s brother, and Jane Russell. Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas is also following David’s progress. In his letter to David, Tito Jackson wrote: “Michael was recently watching you on television in London, and he told me, ‘This man isn’t right, but I have the best wishes for him, and I hope he wins because he’s made great progress in that jungle. It’s good that I’m not in his place!!! Ha ha ha.’” Jane Russell also wrote: “I’m wishing you the best, and I know you’re a fighter and you’ll take this competition to the end. I met with Annie and Kirk Douglas, and they were asking about you.” Matt Willis, a star from Ex-Busted, was impressed by these letters: “The letters that came for David were amazing. He received letters from Hollywood stars, and our friend from Jackson Five (Tito) told David that Michael is also following the show. These are big names who sent letters to their friend in the jungle. I think he must have been really happy.” Source: eMJey / Hollywood News
