Michael Jackson receives eight world record diplomas

Today, Michael went to the North West London area at the invitation to receive his collection of world record diplomas, which have been registered in the Guinness World Records book. Michael Jackson is one of the longest-standing holders of world records. Michael received a set of eight world record diplomas, which of course included the record for the most successful showman of all time as well. Craig Glenday, editor of the Guinness World Records, said: “We’re always waiting for the unexpected at the Guinness World Records offices—tallest man and woman with the longest nails. But we haven’t been this excited since the Queen’s visit last year. Michael Jackson is one of the biggest superstars of all time, and his unwavering success in his career has kept him at the top of the record-breaking charts. We’re definitely delighted that Michael, with such brilliant achievements, is a Guinness World Records holder, and it’s an honor for us that he—despite how busy his schedule is—spent some time with us and came here.” Michael was escorted from the hotel to the Guinness World Records location by his fans. And because he has been a fan of Guinness records since childhood, Glenday, the editor-in-chief of the collection, invited him for a short tour around the world records offices. Michael said about it: “I’ve always been a huge fan of this book. Thank you so much. It was a great honor to visit the offices where the world records are recorded.” In addition to the eight world record diplomas, Michael also received from Glenday the newest released edition of the Guinness World Records book, as well as the edition related to his birth year—1958.
