Joseph Jackson: Michael Wants to Defend Himself in Court

May
Michael’s father, Joseph Jackson, said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he has asked his son’s defense attorneys to allow Michael to appear in the witness stand and defend himself. Joseph said about this: " He wants to defend himself. Michael wants to stand in the witness stand. I’m not stopping him from doing this. Let him do it. Let him speak. "

Joseph also said that he asks his son to eat and get enough rest. Over these past few months, Michael has had a significant change in his weight, so much so that even the media have occasionally mentioned it. He said that during the 12 weeks in which he had been present in court with Michael every day, he became very concerned about his health. Joseph continued: " Even his fans are saying that he should eat. They want him to eat. I want the same thing. " " I try to tell him to stay strong and to eat so that he can stay strong and continue. But when you have a problem like his... he has lost a lot of weight and he doesn’t get enough rest at night. "
