Elizabeth Taylor, the former Queen of Hollywood and a friend of Mr. Jackson, said: “Thank God that Michael’s innocence was proven. I hope they leave him alone now and don’t make him lonely.”

Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson’s former wife, also welcomed the jury’s verdict and said: “I would never marry a child abuser. The system works.”

Given that during the trial Mr. Jackson appeared increasingly thin and fragile, it seems unlikely that he will return to work and music soon.

Max Clifford, involved in the music industry in London, said that despite Mr. Jackson’s acquittal, the evidence presented during the trial will make it difficult for him to return to work.

He said: “Although he still has a broad fan base, many people are not happy with what was revealed in court. He will face a hard road to regain the popularity he enjoyed in the past.”

However, one of Britain’s chain stores announced that in the past two years, since these accusations were brought against Michael Jackson, there has been no significant decrease or increase in sales of his albums.

Jesse Jackson, an activist in the U.S. Black rights movement, said the singer “has been tried and convicted by news networks.”

But he added: “Michael must evaluate the behavioral consequences that led him to this ordeal.”

Al Sharpton, a politician and another activist in the Black rights movement, said about this trial: “Children were dragged into court, and Michael’s image was severely damaged. In my view, this story had no winners.”

“I don’t think there is any reason for Michael or those who oppose him to mock each other.”
