David Gest’s comments about Michael Jackson
“I have to be his friend. I can’t turn my back on him. I feel very upset, and if he’s convicted, he’ll have to pay the price like anyone else. But I don’t intend to turn my back on a friend. That’s not my way. It’s never been my way.”
David Gest, Lisa Marie Presley’s husband, has decided to make a television documentary about “Michael’s world.” Although it has been 8 months since David Gest and Michael have spoken to each other, he still considers himself a friend of Michael. In this documentary, he plans to interview people who truly know Michael. According to him, this is an investigation into Michael’s life—who he really is and what made him become the way he is. David has vowed to remain Michael’s friend, regardless of the trial Michael is facing.
