Arrest of one of the witnesses in the case
Ahmad Elatab, an 18-year-old witness for the defense team in the Michael Jackson allegations case, was arrested on Tuesday for having sex with a 14-year-old girl in the basement of his home. He was released from jail the same day after posting $25,000 bail.
The secret of the 14-year-old girl was revealed during the exchange of a message with her classmate. After that, the teacher informed the police, which led to Elatab’s arrest. Elatab has claimed that the relationship was consensual. However, in any case, because the girl is below the legal age, Elatab is considered guilty.
The 14-year-old girl told the police that Elatab had told her that he had been a witness in Neverland while Michael Jackson was seducing a girl, and that she also intended to do something similar. Elatab denied saying such a thing.
Elatab had spoken with the complainant when Jackson took him and the current complainant (Gavin Arvizo) to the toy store R US. He says that the complainant told him that Jackson helped him fight his cancer through meditation. He also said that he believes his illness stopped because of Michael Jackson.
Elatab also said that in March 2003 (that is, one month after the alleged sexual misconduct against Michael Jackson), the complainant told him, “Michael is like a father to me, and I have never been a witness to Michael doing anything inappropriate.”
Eletab adds, “He gives all the children fatherly love. There is nothing sexual. Michael never touched him in an inappropriate way, and he never touched Michael that way. They only held each other’s hands. All the children hold Michael’s hand. It’s fatherly.”
